About Us
We create authentic desert experiences that connect you with Morocco’s landscapes, cultures and people.
We are a small, local team based in Merzouga, the village at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Our guides and cameleers come from the families of this region — people who learned the desert not from a training course but from a childhood spent moving through it with animals.
We keep our groups small and our itineraries honest. When we say trek, we mean travel at camel pace with nights in real camps — not a car park, a photo and a rushed return. When we say local, we mean the money you pay stays in Merzouga: our guides, our cooks, our camel owners and the guesthouses we work with are all from here.
Our camels are working partners, not props. They are owned and cared for by the men who walk beside them, worked in rotation with proper rest, loaded within sensible limits, and retired to pasture when their working years end. If you have questions about how our animals are treated, ask us anything — we are proud of the answer.
And we believe the desert should stay as we found it. We carry out everything we carry in, use established camps and routes, and keep our tours at a scale this fragile landscape can absorb.
