The experience is otherwise the real one — the camp is in the sands, not beside a road; the drums by the fire are played by your hosts, not a hired show; and sunrise from the dune behind your tent is exactly as it should be.

Itinerary
Afternoon — Camel trek to the camp
Meet in Merzouga in the late afternoon for the sunset camel trek into the dunes (about an hour) — or take the 4x4 transfer if you prefer. Check in to your suite, then climb the dune for sunset with a glass of tea.
Evening & morning — Dinner, stars, sunrise
A three-course Moroccan dinner is served at camp, followed by music around the fire and — on clear nights — some of the best stargazing in Morocco. After sunrise and breakfast, ride or drive back to Merzouga.

How is this different from the standard overnight trek?
Same dunes, same sunset trek, same stars — but a private bathroom, a real bed, heating in winter and table service instead of shared facilities and mattress bedding. The standard camp costs €40; this is for travellers who want the desert and their comfort too.
Is there electricity and wifi?
The camp runs on solar power: lights and charging sockets in every tent. Wifi is not provided — most guests count that as a feature. Phone signal reaches parts of the camp.
Is it suitable for a honeymoon or special occasion?
Yes. Tell us the occasion and we arrange the details — private dinner setup, a dune-top aperitif at sunset.
Can children stay?
Yes — family tents sleep up to four, and the camel trek is child-friendly from around age 5.
